Power Up Your Intentions

As we head into the second half of the first month of this new year, may I ask you a personal question?  How are you doing with those resolutions you set for yourself as the New Year began?

If you answered “Great!”, congratulations!  But if you’d rather forget that you made any resolutions–or if you didn’t even bother in the first place—not to worry.  By now, the stats say, most of us who made resolutions are pretending we didn’t.

Still, all of us have areas of our lives that we want to enrich and develop.  And now that the holiday hubbub has faded, it’s a perfect time seriously to begin.

Intentions: the Magic Key

And as I said in my last post, resolutions aren’t the way to change your life for real anyway.  At least they’re not the first step.  The first step is to give some real thought to what area of your life you want to upgrade—or even radically transform—and how it would impact you if you did.

Then comes the important part:  You set an intention to make the change, and the intention provides the energy and direction that lets you formulate goals and take action.

Because it’s your intention that energizes your goals and keeps you on track, it’s the magic key.  And it’s important to keep it top of mind.  Wouldn’t you agree?

Meet The (Absolutely Free) Intention Creator®

What if you could get a friendly little reminder of your intention every time you booted up your computer?  And what if, in addition to reminding you of the direction you wanted to go, you had something that would send you a motivational quote every day?  And what if this little something could also help you plan your goals, and remember important deadlines?  And what if it didn’t cost you anything at all?

If that sounds good to you, you need to download Dr. Joe Vitale’s Intention Creator®.  A simple little piece of software that’s easy as pie to install and use, this little program is worth its weight in gold.  I’ve been using it for a couple of years and I love it.  Here’s a screen shot of mine:

Each of the icons at the top is a tool you can use:

  • A List of Your Intentions
  • A List of Your Ideas with Action Steps You Can Take
  • An Action List with Optional Deadlines
  • A List of Actions Sorted by Deadlines
  • A Reminder List
  • A List of Attitude Boosters

All in all, it’s one cool tool.  Even if you use it only to flash your intentions at you when you turn on your computer for the day, it will positively impact your life.  The additional features are handy, even if you use them only to jot down things you want to add to a different organizing system later on.

To download the Intention Creator, just go here: www.intentioncreator.com/

And enjoy!
